The Role 

We are looking for a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist to join our Client Success team. Reporting to the Client Success Director and working closely with the wider CS team, your role will be integral to delivering data-led insights and optimisation recommendations that support the growth and optimisation of our clients’ digital products.  

In this role you will:

  • Identify, implement and support use of best practice approaches and tools in the field of CRO
  • Analyse client data to identify both quick wins and longer term optimisation gains
  • Present your findings in such a way that you tell a compelling story to clients
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Client Success team to identify ongoing opportunities within existing clients
  • Work with our development and XD teams to support the design and ongoing enhancement of our clients digital experience
  • Support the pre-sales process, identifying opportunities for clients that we can use to demonstrate the value Inviqa can offer them
  • Build strong supportive relationships of trust within the team and with clients, sharing knowledge and helping clients develop their understanding of data analytics
  • Train clients in data analytics and data driven decision making
  • Take a lead in helping develop a culture of continuous improvement within the Client Success team
  • Proactively identify opportunities for using analytics internally, to help Inviqa continuously improve
  • Create and implement data driven client campaigns
  • Act as a champion for data analytics, data driven decision making and CRO within the business

About You

Skills and Knowledge

You may have a degree in Statistics, Economics or a similar field, but will definitely be able to demonstrate experience in effectively using data analytics to identify and solve conversion problems.  You will be comfortable working directly with clients, and our ideal candidate would have experience working in pre-sales.  

Some of the attributes you'll need include:

  • Curiosity. You'll always be asking questions about our client's customer and their experience, and how to improve it as well as scanning the horizon for new research, techniques, tooling and skills to help.
  • Critical thinking: You should be able look at a client experience and articulate what isn't working and why. Using experience and data you should be able to propose solutions to overcoming conversion issues
  • Multi-skilled: You'll be comfortable with copywriting, data, analytics and testing. Some understanding and exposure to coding JS, JQuery, HTML and CSS wouldn't hurt

Additionally you will:

  • Have a strong commercial focus and a good understanding of our clients’ needs
  • Have a real desire to do a great job and delight our clients
  • Work well under pressure/at a fast pace in a range of difference situations
  • Have strong communication skills, especially in translating complex data into compelling stories that our clients can understand
  • Be proactive, with a “can do” approach and have an endless appetite for improving our clients outcomes
  • Enjoy being part of a team, collaborating and succeeding together

Tools and Systems

You will be able to install (or brief our dev teams to), configure and develop best practice implementation briefs/checklists for relevant CRO services including:

  • Google Analytics / Data Studio 360
  • Google Webmaster Tools
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Optimise
  • User feedback & session recording technologies (eg Hotjar / SessionCam etc)
  • Testing tools (Optimizely, Yieldify, AB Tasty, Monetate etc)
  • Presentation tools ( eg Qlik, Tableau and Looker etc)

You should also be able to promote the appropriate use / training of these packages for clients and Inviqa teams as needed.
