Senior Project Manager (Digital/ Creative)
Location: The HKX Building, 3 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG
Salary band: £50,000 - £58,000 (depending on experience)

An Inviqan Senior Project Manager is a confident leader who knows how to manage all things website and apps related and is brilliant at making things happen. This is a pivotal role within the agency as you will provide ownership and drive for our accounts, pitches & initiatives.
The Senior Project Manager will be tasked with supporting the agency and Project Management team in providing continuous improvement to the agency from a Project Management & digital leadership perspective.
You will be well versed in delivering strategy + creative + data + technology projects and excel in bringing people together; a process driven individual with 5+ years’ experience and will be someone that can direct and lead the project team without them feeling suffocated by the process.
You will be an empathetic leader who is trusting, understanding, supportive and can appreciate everyone’s position and efforts, and know the financial ins and outs of each of your projects and will be expected to present the detail in a weekly meeting.

You may have significant client communication responsibilities to ensure that client expectations are managed and met alongside our Account Management team.
What you will be doing
- Manage website & app projects end-to-end (Discovery, Design, Development, Deployment)
- Leading the accounts, you are working on and developing relationships with all team members & clients
- Participating in strategic development of new business and pitches
- Developing relationships with clients through gaining trust and successful delivery
- Showing a high degree of independence and autonomy in decision-making
- Encouraging cross-departmental collaboration
- Be a reference point for expert Project Management advice and ensure the highest standards and best practices are maintained
- Constantly strive to help develop and strengthen the project management team
- Ensure delivery processes and approaches support creative and innovation to allow the team to produce the best possible work
- Foster great ideas and find the best delivery approach to support creative, while ensuring commercial success
- Ensure ideas are realistic and achievable, and relentlessly work to find the best delivery solution within time and budget.
- Help to drive the agency’s agenda, contributing to innovative digital & delivery ideas
- Ownership of project and programme commercials; proactively and appropriately managing project scope and resources to protect margins (within a tolerance of 5% overrun), including the running of weekly and end-of-job financial reconciliation and the creation of accurate SOWs. The Senior Producer is accountable for project profitability and reporting at the weekly projects and monthly billing ratio meetings.
- Work with the HOO to monitor and report your utilisation and billability
- Support and guide your team to ensure the most appropriate delivery approach has been outlined, based on the brief/ client requirements
- Proactively seek out project risks and ensure clear mitigation plans and solutions are in place
- Manage the project team and client’s expectations, partnering with the Account Management team, to make sure all changes (internal and external) are managed appropriately
- Ensure that project feasibility is managed with the teams and ideas are provided to the client with appropriate delivery plans in place
- Be the client’s delivery partner and escalation point, demonstrate and foster trust in our delivery capabilities
- Be the voice of reason as project risks increase or scope changes, to ensure that overall delivery objectives are met, whilst maintaining innovation, timings and project budgets
- Work with the HOO to refine and implement the delivery processes/ways of working to ensure they are adapted to client’s delivery needs
- Be the champion of your project team’s morale and ensure that strong working relationships are formed across departments, support your teams to be the best they can be - celebrate team wins, share team losses
- You will be reliable and self-sufficient in developing new skills
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Intervene early to keep projects on time, budget and right first time
- Ensure that all SOWs are accurate and informative and include detailed plan of project stages, delivery dates, budget and resource requirements
- Understand business and functional requirements of all projects
- Able to ballpark project costs & timings.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in delivering large complex digital projects (websites, apps)
- Certified Scrum Master & complete familiarity with the Scrum process and expectations
- Self-starter who can make it happen
- Solid understanding of processes, workflows, tools and methodologies
- Successfully managed multiple large scale multilingual projects at the same time
- Experience of delivering digital platforms, programs and applications
- Brilliant communicator, pathfinder and problem solver
- Strong User Experience, Design and technical knowledge
- Highly motivated, collaborative and entrepreneurial
- Strong ethos to deliver innovative, creative solutions that have the client’s needs at the heart
- Commercially astute
- Experience of managing projects of £500k+
- Experience working with distributed teams and client stakeholders across multiple territories.
- Ability to work with a high degree of flexibility and fluidity
- Work in a collaborative way and can build strong relationships with clients and with Project Management teams.
