About the role

Due to continued business growth, we’re looking for a consultative salesperson to join our team as a Business Development Manager. You’ll be based in our London office and will report directly to Paul Wander, co-founder of Inviqa and our Head of Sales. 

You are expert at building relationships, exploring value in a complex B2B setting and ultimately closing large deals with exciting companies seeking value from their digital initiatives.

Specific targets will include Sales Orders (annual target: £2M). 

What you’ll be doing

  • Working in concert with our Marketing and Sales Development teams to identify and pursue target accounts with door-opening ideas
  • Taking ownership of an Account Based Marketing (ABM) list; outreach into the market with your expertise
  • Further qualify opportunities presented to you through the Sales Development team
  • Engaging with decision makers to determine the value of projects or pain points, thereby driving opportunities forward
  • Presenting the value Inviqa delivers; aligning pitches to a prospect’s pain/needs
  • Updating and maintaining Inviqa’s CRM system

About you

You will be used to initiating and selling complex services to large organisations. You will do  this in line with our values of Purpose, Human, Open, Learning and Together. This means that you are disciplined, goal driven and deliver on your commitments. You empathise with clients and colleagues, you share knowledge and give honest feedback, you have a thirst for learning, and you collaborate as a default. 

This is a hands on sales role so you will also be:

  • Able to show solid experience of closing deals in the range of £100K - £1M 
  • Highly collaborative: a professional relationship builder, both internal and externally
  • Able to manage multiple prospects, clients and projects
  • An excellent communicator  (written and verbal)
  • A continuous learner - you’ll have a constant desire to learn and grow
  • Really comfortable in a high energy, fast-paced environment. 
  • Truthful in your forecasting 
  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment
