Inviqa has a strong technology heritage, spanning 13 years and delivering to some of the UK and Europe’s leading businesses and public sector institutions. With roots embedded in providing specialist bespoke software engineering, Inviqa technical capabilities today also extend across solutions architecture, platform implementation, systems integration, front-end innovation and emerging connected technologies. Our technology underpins a broader proposition that encompasses end to end digital expertise to deliver transformative customer experiences, from consultancy and research, through UX and design, to seamless tech delivery and ongoing growth acceleration. 

We’re looking for a motivated senior technology professional to lead our technical consulting services, architect successful technical solutions, grow our profile within the industry, and help both shape and deliver against our strategy. 

Specifically you will:    

  • Own technical consulting, developing our abilities across Europe through delegating and upskilling existing technology professionals and hiring great people;
  • Drive our technical pre-sales with confidence, integrity and passion. Motivate and guide other technical professionals across the business to add expertise to pre-sales;  
  • Build strong relationships with clients based on trust and expertise, and inspire them with innovative solutions that harnesses appropriate technology, are commercially viable and can be successfully implemented;
  • Bring technical rigor, insight and pragmatism to the sales dynamic, successfully blending the needs of clients, our business and technical integrity to ensure we build compelling propositions and deliver successful outcomes;
  • Ensure the chosen technical solutions meet client needs, fit their constraints, and can be delivered effectively - and support the wider delivery teams to rise to the challenge;
  • Identify opportunities to add value to Inviqa and our clients through appropriate new technologies and develop compelling business cases to support your ideas;
  • Engage with our technical partner network, building relationships that deliver mutual value and align to meet client needs;
  • Forge good working relationships and methods with other senior leaders at Inviqa to coordinate and deliver a seamless end-to-end engagements;
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and deliver on the technical strategy that is aligned to our business goals and connected to the wider business.
  • Evangelise technology externally and engage in wider communities to promote the business and generate interest through leading by example.

The Ideal Candidate


  • You will be great at building strong relationships with our clients and impressing them, through various engagements from informal discussions to pitches and presentations.
  • You can explain complex technical issues at an appropriate level for your audience.
  • You will be a natural and excellent communicator through all mediums.
  • You will seek out alignment and collaboration with team members across all functions to support an integrated offering and client experience.
  • You will be engaging and vocal within the wider technical community, and able to promote and advocate on their behalf.

Technically adept

  • You have built a career within the technology industry and can engage with clients and industry partners knowledgeably and with confidence in areas both in and outside of any particular specialism.
  • You will be super-passionate about how technology can improve people’s lives. You will keep up with the latest developments, validating them for Inviqa and our clients.
  • You have experience within the domains of Ecommerce and Content and are aware of the platform vendors, especially open-source and PHP variants.
  • You can architect holistic solutions to complex client challenges at scale, understanding the implications of your choices across the clients technical estate and business domain.

Commercially savvy

  • You will have a strong commercial and business awareness that ensures our technical output is aligned to client needs and delivers business value.


  • You will lead by example, balancing ownership and responsibility with empowerment and delegation. 
  • You will be respected for your knowledge and ability and find ways to bring out the best in others.
  • You will be able to influence senior stakeholders and be adaptable and versatile in your approach to succeed against goals.
  • You will have the determination and drive to see things through
